The organization provides networking opportunities and access to a wealth of information about the latest techniques in chemical engineering. Undergraduate students are able to join AIChE for free through the ScaleUp initiative in order to get acquainted with the organization at an early age.

Comitte Applications

Are you interested in getting more involved with AIChE this year? Joining an AIChE committee is the perfect way to do it! Apply to be a part of the Internal Relations, Publicity, Social, Philanthropy, or Engineering Open House committees. Unfortunately, each student can only be a member of one committee, but you can preference your top three choices on the application. Applications must be completed and e-mailed to Patricia Li (pali2@illinois.edu) by Friday, September 15th at 5pm. Email Patricia with any questions.

Mentor Program

Want to get more involved in AIChE? Join the mentor program! The AIChE Mentor Program is a social and professional experience, providing participants with a great way to meet other chemical engineering students and grow professionally. Mentors need to sign up by this Wednesday (9/6) and will be trained on several professional topics to guide mentees . There will also be monthly social events for participants! SWE Barn Dance

This year AIChE will be a co-host for the annual SWE Barndance on September 30th at Farm Lake Barn! This is going to be a huge event and a great opportunity to talk to other AIChE members and meet engineers from other organizations. Tickets will go on sale in the SWE office (110A Engineering Hall) starting September 18th. Tickets will only be available to paid member for the first week. Tickets are $10 for paid members and $15 for everyone else. Contact  Marcus with any questions.

Intramural Sign UP

Hey guys, intramural registration for Fall 2017 Session 1 begins this Monday (9/11)! If you are interested in participating in the following sports, please fill out this link. Options include: sand volleyball, flag football, and softball (all sports will be co-rec).The deadline to sign up will be this Thursday, September 14!
