Congratulations on your achievement. The moment you have worked so hard for has finally come, and we are excited to celebrate you. It is time for Black Congratulatory.

Black Congratulatory is an annual commencement celebration hosted by the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center (BNAACC) to honor Black students across the diaspora who through unyielding determination have successfully completed an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The 2021 Black Congratulatory ceremony will be held virtually on Saturday, May 15th at 4:00 PM CST. All attendees (BOTH graduates and guests) should RSVP for the ceremony to receive the ceremony zoom link. To RSVP, please visit https://go.illinois.edu/BlackCongratulatoryRSVP. Students graduating in Spring 2021, Summer 2021, and Fall 2021 are eligible to participate. If you have received this message and know of a fellow graduate in the Class of 2021 who did not receive this message, please forward this notice.

Each registered participant for Black Congratulatory receives a University of Illinois Black Kente stole and class memento. The registration cost is $55.00. To place your order for your stole and memento, please visit https://go.illinois.edu/BlackCongratulatoryStole.
