Physics Proficiency Exam signup for Fall 2020 is live.
The Department of Physics will be offering proficiency exams for the following courses for the Fall 2020 semester:
- PHYS 101
- PHYS 102
- PHYS 211
- PHYS 212
- PHYS 213
- PHYS 214
The proficiency exams will be offered on-line and proctored through the CBTF Online Proctoring Service.
The exams will be offered according to the following schedule:
PHYS 101: Monday 17 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
PHYS 211: Monday 17 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
PHYS 102: Tuesday 18 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
PHYS 212: Tuesday 18 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
PHYS 213: Wednesday 19 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
PHYS 214: Thursday 20 August 2020, starting at 9:00 AM Central Daylight Time
Students must register to take a proficiency exam: https://my.physics.illinois.edu/undergrad/proficiency/signup.asp The last day to register for a proficiency exam is Monday 10 August 2020.
Only registered students will be allowed to take any proficiency exams.
Registered students will receive information for making a proctoring reservation no later than Wednesday 12 August 2020.
Proficiency results will be made available to students and sent to students' Colleges no later than Wednesday 26 August 2020.

You must include the following information in your e-mail:
- Your netid.
- The proficiency exam you wish to take.
