The department invites chemical engineering students to make use of the ChBE Undergraduate Learning Centers in Noyes Lab.  One of these is located in 308 NL where currently 12 computers and 2 printers are available for your use, as well as other study areas and whiteboards.  Due to social distancing guidelines, the maximum occupancy for this room is 16 people until further notice.  The second Learning Center is located in 211 NL where currently 8 work stations and 1 printer are available for your use.  In 211 NL, please only use workstations equipped with computers to observe proper social distancing.  The maximum occupancy for 211 NL is 8 people until further notice.

Chemical engineering students are allowed up to 300 pages of printing each semester at no cost when using this facility.  You may check your print count at any time and as often as you need.

Using the Papercut (printing software) window, open the shortcut on the Desktop called "PaperCut Balance", and log on with your NetID and Password.

You will notice a credit of $30 to support the 300 pages that is provided by the department. Note that there is no financial credit or gain; this is a manual entry made to software in efforts to provide a printing allotment. If you print over 300 pages, a charge of $ 0.10 is assessed for each page printed (an actual cost for services).  The assessment is applied to your student account at the end of each semester. If you have any questions, you may contact Jadii Rodgers, rodgrs@illinois.edu.

If you need technical assistance while using the computers or printers in the lab, instructions on how to seek assistance are posted on the wall.  Laminated instruction cards are also provided for each computer workstation.  Although the printer paper trays are filled and supplies are monitored regularly, if paper or toner runs out, we ask that you visit another campus facility for your printing needs.
