Dr. Silverman is a 1969 graduate in Biology at UIUC.  He graduated from medical school at the University of Chicago – Pritzker School of Medicine in 1973, and worked as a rheumatologist until 1985 when he switched career paths to work in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.  His industry experiences shaped his vision for BioStrategics Consulting Ltd, which he founded in 1999.  As President of this consulting firm, he and his team provide a range of clinical development consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
