Life Lessons over Lunch

The “Life Lessons over Lunch” career program gives company representatives an opportunity to meet with a small group of students and share career advice and professional experience in an informal setting. This program provides employers with the opportunity to connect with students in addition to traditional interviewing & recruiting methods. By volunteering for this program, you can provide students with insights and wisdom from your own career path, while also building a positive and lasting presence on campus for you and your company. Our office will be glad to make all the arrangements, and you can either purchase lunch for the students or have the students bring a lunch. Again, this is very informal but can make a big impact on guiding our students! To schedule a lunch or for more information on this program, contact our office at (217) 333-1050 or e-mail careers@scs.illinois.edu.

Student Organizations

Another great way to engage with students is through registered student organizations (or 'RSO's).  You can find a list of current student organizations here: https://scs.illinois.edu/academics/student-and-professional-organizations and we would also be happy to connect you!
