Chemical life sciences building UIUC

The Chemical and Life Sciences Laboratory is located at 601 South Goodwin Avenue in Urbana. It was built as a five-story addition to the East Chemistry Annex, later renamed the Roger Adams Laboratory.

Known originally as the "Chemical and Life Sciences Laboratory A", the building cost $5,050,000 in state funds and grants.

On March 4, 1993, ground was broken to add additional space to the building.

Today, the building houses research laboratories for inorganic, physical, and materials chemistry, and is known as the Chemical and Life Sciences Laboratory.
