The Fred S. Bailey Scholarship Program supports students who have demonstrated a positive impact on the University of Illinois community and who are committed to community service, leadership, and action. The Bailey Program is currently accepting applications for the Unpaid Internship Scholarship Program. This Scholarship provides University of Illinois students scholarship funding who accept unpaid internships with public service agencies and not-for-profit organizations.
The Bailey Scholarship Program provides $1500 for part-time scholarships and $3000 for full-time scholarships. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience with non-profit organizations and public service agencies. Please note, that applications that detail internships required for graduation will now be accepted.
