Kenneth Jaconetty (BS ChBE 1981) is a retired Intellectual Property attorney and formerly was senior director and associate general counsel, IP legal lead for IP Transactions at Astellas Pharma U.S. Previously, he has served as assistant general counsel for IP at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and senior counsel at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, and in numerous other roles as a patent and intellectual property attorney. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and JD from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Nan Jiang (BS ChBE 2010) is a Patent & Open-Source Counsel at eBay, Inc. and has previous experience as a Corporate Counsel for a UK startup and as an Intellectual Property Counsel for Harman International, Inc. (A Samsung Company). Prior to this, Nan spent 11 years in private practice preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Nan holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UIUC and a JD from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI.
