Group Expert - Position Description
Should a research advisor prefer to have an individual within a research group trained to assist other individuals within the group, the following is a list of preferable responsibilities for the group exert:
Principal Responsibilities
- Coordinates the use of the lab between group members, other group experts and the facility supervisor.
- Assists in starting up and shutting down system runs.
- Provides information and training to group members.
- Assists as an extra person in situations where working alone is inadvisable.
- Attends meetings of the facility supervisor and group experts as called by the facility supervisor.
- Maintains a file of information on the lab.
