The School of Chemical Sciences invites prospective students and their families to join us for a Fall 2026 information session. Sessions are available both in person and virtually.

About the Information Sessions
Prospective students and their families are invited to learn more about undergraduate programs within the School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Information sessions are available for students interested in:
- Chemistry
- Computer Science + Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering + Data Science
During the session, you'll hear from faculty, academic advisors, career services and a current student. Together, they will provide an overview of our academic programs and curriculum, undergraduate research opportunities, student organizations, career paths and campus resources.
You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into what it's like to study Chemistry or Chemical Engineering at Illinois.
Whether you are just beginning to explore majors or preparing to make your college decision, these sessions are designed to help you learn more about the School of Chemical Sciences community and the academic and professional opportunities available to our students.
